'Burger Armageddon' in Miami
The New York Times' Diner's Journal blog is reporting from the South Beach Wine & Food Festival, where the second annual Burger Bash is set for tonight. According to the paper, defending champ Shake Shack is looking to stave off a hungry competitor in the Burger Joint.

It's a shame that the only burger battles in my immediate vicinity are between the mega-chain slop burgers.....
We do have a local guy who slings a mighty good burger. Jim's Lunch in Millville, NJ. He used to have competition with another Millvillian Joe Torelli's burger. Joe sadly, is not healthy enough to run his establishment, and has yet to pass on his trademark "Secret Sauce" to someone else, so that his burgers might still live on. Jim's was always a close second to Joe's, but since he is the only game in that town now, I enjoy his a bit more.

wow! RADIUS dethroned Shake Shack?! Radius?!!? I didn't even realize they had a burger. Kinda sucks that a cool burger shack got beat by a froofy French restaurant, but I gotta gets me over there. Yeah Boston!
