From the AHT email inbox, a message from a Wendy's PR rep:
Hi, Adam:
Just wanted to send you another quick heads-up: In May, Wendy’s issued a challenge to America– to create and vote for its next great burger. Seven months and around 15,000 entries later, the people have chosen a winner in the Build Wendy's New Burger Contest: The Philly Style Hoagie Burger, created by Ian Van Camp, a screenwriter from Los Angeles.
You can meet Ian and see his winning burger at ThisIsMyBurger.com. It will appear on the menu in 2008. For his burger genius, Ian will get $25,000. Nine runners-up win free Wendy's burgers for a year.

Here's what's on a Philly Style Hoagie Burger:

Top bun, shredded lettuce, fresh onion rings, sliced tomato, hamburger patty, American cheese, hamburger patty, American cheese, Genoa salami, sliced ham, Italian dressing, bottom bun.
Can I just point something out here: "...created by Ian Van Camp, a screenwriter from Los Angeles.
A screenwriter.
They're on strike, right? Clearly Van Camp had too much time on his hands.
So I ask Hollywood, I ask the TV executives, I ask media moguls everywhere: Would you please end this strike now by giving writers their fair share of digital revenue? The longer it goes on, the worse the burgerscape becomes.
