Taking 'Bacon Cheeseburger' Literally

20070619baconburgery.jpg

The burger above might look fairly ordinary, but the patty is not ground chuck or ground sirloin or any kind of ground beef.

That, my friends, is 100 percent ground bacon, skillet-cooked ("to avoid having it break apart on the grill"), and sandwiched between two slices of pepper Jack cheese.

Mother of God. I want to try it. Just one bite, and then I'll go jogging or something. My guess: someone will soon ruin it with turkey bacon.

Holy bejeezus. I want one. And then I will go jogging (wait, I don't jog, scratch that), do a juice fast, and then eat vegetarian for a month after that.

Please don't every show anything like this on the web again. You have unleashed a terrible curse. Its like that movie, the Ring.

@Jim: You're probably right. Turkey ruins everything! @Alison: I think that's exactly the regimen you'd need after eating this thing! @Steve: LOL. Yes you eat this burger and then die in seven days. @Billy: OMG! Taking the Bacon Cheese Baconburger to the next level, you'd have to bun it with a Krispy Kreme donut. Thanks for sharing the link!

I still haven't decided what this would taste like but it sure looks good! The whole thing would probably fall apart if I ever tried to make it!

This is a blatant ripoff of my Bacon Cheese Baconburger that I made much earlier in the year.

That's a serious accusation. I never saw your site, nor was I aware of it when I made my burger. I'm sorry if you feel slighted, but the world is big enough for more than one bacon burger.

Fantastic idea. Looks delicious!
