We recently received this photo from Josh "Mr. Cutlets" Ozersky. It's a burger from Dirty Martin's in Austin, Texas. His initial email said, "Better than the Shake Shack any day." Pressed for further details, Mr. C says:

Dirty Martin's is one of the oldest hamburger temples in the country, founded in 1926, and is still one of the very best. The double-griddled buns, gently browned and buttered; the fresh meat; the hot griddle; and the picture-perfect form represent all that is best in burgerdom to me. The burger, broader and thinner than the Shake Shack's, gives you more salty surface area and just as much juicy beef goodness. It's a burger worth going to Austin for, and the tater tots were good, too.

And a belated congratulations to Mr. Ozersky on his appointment as online food editor for New York magazine. Good hire, New York.
