Location: Northeast corner of Smith and President Streets, Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn NY
Getting There: F train to Carroll Street Station, exit at northern end of station, walk to street level, and Bob's yer uncle.




Went to the Gowanus Yacht Club, recently reopened for the season, with some of my fellow bocce teammates (above, some of the If You Want My Bocce crew). We needed a non-bocce outing to lift our spirits after our less-than-stellar regular-season play.

I had a cheeseburger, which, hmm ... maybe I'm missing something, but I'm never that impressed with the GYC burgers. I usually get one here and there, and it only serves to remind me that I should stick to the hot dogs, sausages, and what not. Not that they're necessarily awful, just not as good as the dogs and wursts.
