Krispy Kreme Bacon Cheeseburgers

Humm donut ! from Flickr member François @ Edito.qc.ca.
Many thanks to AHT reader Bill G., who writes: "I'm a big fan of burgers, and you do a damn fine job covering them. This one scares even me."

Bill then gives us a link to a press release about burgers made with Krispy Kremes for buns (which sounds like the Luther Burger we mentioned in June):

“The Grizzlies and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts have teamed up to create ‘Baseball’s Best Burger.’ The burger, which was introduced at Gateway’s December 10th sale, consists of a thick and juicy burger topped with sharp cheddar cheese and two slices of bacon. The burger is then placed in between each side of a Krispy Kreme Original Glazed doughnut.”

All we can say is: Play ball!

"Sir, would you like a quadruple bypass with that?"

I think I'm going to be sick. You wonder why america is the fattest country in the world, and obesity is skyrocketing. Only in America.

I think this burger may be why the terrorists hate us.

anyhow, here's a link to some brave soul's creation of his own Krisy Kreme bacon cheese burger:

My own personal fave ridiculous burger is the "Gutbuster," available at Don's Main Street Diner in Reedsport, OR. Double bacon cheeseburger....with a grilled hotdog on top. Ugh.

Any steroids with that?

I find it ironic that the same exact thing was an idea on the tv show "The Boondocks" literally MONTHS before this idea came to be. Funniest of all... in the episode where it was featured it was inadvertantly labeled as death on a bun... Gotta love America...

I cannot imagine anyone on the face of this earth who would even think about eating such a hamburger other than Paula Deen. Come on, Paula, put that hamburger down, girl!
