Hamburgers Invade Fashion Week

20060213fashionweek_1.jpg20060213fashionweek_2.jpg

Jeremy Scott showed his collection of fast-food inspired fashion at Fashion Week in New York. I have virtually no information on him other than his bio, but I would love to find out more about his inspiration and who might actually wear this.

If you happen to be a hamburger-loving fashionista, feel free to fill us in on all the deets.

Thanks to the Consumerist for the tip

Wow, nice post! once again this blog rocks like it always does!

The ladies could maybe pull this off but that dude looks like he got off the bus and missed it again for his next Phish show. I would have to say if I saw that and he wasnt on stage or in a play or something to justify it then I would treat it like a large triple decker and smoosh it down a little (I keed).

Jeremy Scott is a designer who uses his white-trash heartland roots as inspiration -- The Times Style section in the Magazine did a thing a couple of years back featuring his white-trash family in a photo shoot. He's supposed to be the ironic punk take on the heartland.

Hell, I'm an Ohio boy and even us white trash Heartland folks eat our burgers; not wear them. ;) I just looked up his stuff and holy poop is his stuff TERRIBLE! I wonder sometimes if these elite fashion folks are actually blind and try to play it off as some sort of gurus.
