Like most bloggity-blog folk, we at A Hamburger Today are positively obsessed with our site stats. Shortly after the Michael Jackson verdict was announced, we checked in, convinced that the hourly numbers would reflect a drop in readership as people clicked away to news sites for word of the trial's outcome.

Big surprise: Our hits were through the roof. That's because popular social and political critic Andrew Sullivan (right) had linked to our site, describing us simply as "rare and yet well done."

Thanks for the praise and the link, Mr. Sullivan. We hope your readers just finding us through your site share your appreciation.
